Infigo To Build On Signature Deal On Return Trip To North America

Infigo Software Limited are out to strike gold again on the company’s return to the American continent, this time at the Graphics Canada exhibition in Toronto, Canada, from April 16-18.

The software developers from Crawley, adjacent to Gatwick Airport in Sussex, England, believe both Canada and the United States are a ripe land of opportunity for their Catfish and MegaEdit platforms.

Fellow exhibitors at Graphics Canada include household names such as Epson, Xerox, Fujifilm and Canon among the 200 leading supplies – which the show’s publicity says is one of its most impressive lists in recent years.

Infigo’s managing director Douglas Gibson will also be giving a seminar talk called Print, Driving Cross Media success: A look at how the two worlds of digital print and digital communication meet, driving success and new revenue opportunities.

Having attended the Dscoop exhibition in Washington a few weeks ago, they are lining up more contracts, having already secured one in Canada.

They are currently working on some exciting web-to-print opportunities with Signature Print-It, based in Regina, Canada, a leading print company in the region, which uses state of the art technologies capable of achieving high quality, consistent colour resolutions.

Signature Print-It has several government contracts and associations with key corporations and is also a supporter of its community, with high-profile charitable work.

Gibson said: “Signature Print-It has selected Infigo because of its partnership approach and the capabilities of the Catfish product.

“They were attracted because Catfish offers the customer wider flexibility for the use of variable data, meaning the end product can be personalised more cost effectively and efficiently than before, with quicker turnaround speeds for the customer, because everything is edited online.

“Simply put, Catfish reduces the number of manual changes that have to be made, something which is very attractive to traditional print as they expand into digital, as well as businesses which already have an online operation.

“Our Catfish Hybrid Mail platform is perfect as a cross-media tool. It has already proved a real hit with one big-name client, who can now send out print mail or emails from one centralised point, retaining consistent branding whereas, before, they had a real hotch potch of items being sent out.”

Gibson added: “We had a fantastic experience at the Dscoop exhibition. When we were there some people asked ‘why come all this way, from England?’ and we answered that pretty emphatically by making deals at the show.

“We’ve proved that there is nothing like Catfish on the market today. We already provide the product to hundreds of companies using print and web-to-print in the UK and many, too, across the globe.

“Catfish has already proved a huge hit in many industries, from packaging to photography, the printing media and for stationery - any trade that uses variable data to personalise print.”
