2016 has been our busiest year yet, and we can’t wait to see what 2017 holds for Infigo Software and our clients.

We set out to build on the success of 2015, focusing on identifying the business verticals most in need of revolution via an innovative web-to-print solution. On that journey, we also identified the evolving needs of our clients and focused on developing our product and service offering to better meet these. This included the rare decision to acquire the digital marketing company, Netkandi Limited, who were providing all our digital marketing services at that point. This collaboration has enabled us to offer our clients a complete end to end solution that gets their products and services to market online and delivers customers to their virtual door.

We’ve grown into new markets, including digital carton packaging, personalised product labelling and pure player online retailers, as well as expanding in the US market and launching into new countries around the globe, including our first client in South Africa.

One of our proudest moments this year was to be awarded the Graph Expo Must See Ems award in Florida, showing recognition from experts in our field that we offer a distinctive global solution.

We also became members of BPIF, Picon as well as HP SmartStream Partners, showing our commitment to the industry we live and breathe every day.

In terms of product development, 2016 saw us deliver two distinct products under our MegaEdit brand – MegaEdit PHOTO as an intuitive photo gift editor and MegaEdit PRO as a tailored document designer. Not only that, we also added an innovative 3D preview tool which has revolutionised how our packaging and personalised gifting clients gain competitive advantage through an outstanding user experience.

Attending Drupa 2016 in Düsseldorf was an inaugural milestone for us, exhibiting on our own booth and also participating in the HP hall was a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate our software suite.

In September, we launched a bespoke hybrid mail solution for a City Council client who was desperate for a new solution that could meet their complex needs. We met it with gusto, working in partnership with them to understand exactly what they required.

Our Managing Director, Douglas Gibson, and US Business Development Director, Allison Boxall, wowed the delegates at the prestigious Digital Packaging Summit in Jacksonville with a digitally produced personalised cake box that delivered full circle engagement. We partnered with carton manufacturer, Alexir and the Documobi digital engagement app to deliver an online message from a printed piece. We had long believed that the packaging industry is ripe for revolution, and this demonstrated the point perfectly, showing the power of personalised packaging and the potential to use it as an effective marketing engagement tool.

Finally, we welcomed 15 new members across the teams in the UK, US and Moldova and two team members ‘in waiting’ were welcomed to the Gibson family with the birth of Douglas’ beautiful twin boys!

2017 will be about continuing to position ourselves as a distinctive solution provider, offering clients more than just web-to-print. Our business is to strengthen our clients’ businesses and that is our focus for the future.
